Our History

1944

Mr. Shell Youngwall began his aviation career serving with the Swedish Air Force during WWII.

1944

After the war, Shell Youngwall sourced parts left behind to colleagues back in Sweden.

1954

Transaero, Inc. established, venturing into the commercial aviation market,
Transaero supplies spares and replacement parts from 5th Ave, New York, NY.

1960

Transaero forms first distribution partnerships with Scott Aviation and PALL Corporation.

1972

First Industry-Specific National and International Tradeshows

1974

Headquarters move to Mineola, NY

1974

Shell Youngwall spearheads international distribution partnerships

1982

Expanding as a global supplier of aviation and life support parts and equipment
